Vivek - A Case Study in Truth Telling

I hope his campaign is the future of American politics.

Last night Vivek Ramaswamy suspended his campaign after finishing fourth in the Iowa Caucuses. He was not expected to do well in gathering votes but he still managed to become a very popular candidate. I have asked many, many people - regular people like you and me, what they think about Vivek Ramaswamy. Every person replied with the same three words: “I like him.”

Why?

I think it is because Vivek revitalized what American politics used to look like and could look like in the future. Politics has always been a nasty business but it used to be a serious one too. It was debate and dialogue more than it was name calling and bashing. Candidates were expected to propose an idea (in detail) and then defend the idea.
