I am always on the lookout for great men of the faith to imitate. I am looking for men of valor, men of boldness, men of character and virtue. Christianity has a long history of men who can be imitated and Saint Athanasius is one of them.
St. Athanasius lived during one of the most tumultuous times in Christianity. The Church was divided over the Arian heresy. The Arian heresy denied the co-eternality of Jesus which paved the way for the doctrine of the trinity to be destroyed. I made an episode that gives all the details, you can listen here:
