I went for a Fall walk in New England with my family Sunday afternoon. The colors on the trees over the water was stunning and the cool crisp air was magical. (Do I sound like a Fall Girl?) It was a beautiful time with my family. But I couldn’t help laughing at myself for the outfit I had put together.

I was still in my “church clothes”, approved by my wife Sunday morning, when we decided to go on the walk. Instead of swapping outfits, I dawned the reliable Hokas and headed out to our non-minivan mom car (Toyota Highlander - it’s a less cool mini-van. Just get a mini van). I realized that I had the classic dad look going, especially since I was wearing my son, so naturally I had to get a picture. My wife agreed, called me a goof, and we moved on. I even thought she was checking me out.

Then I posted the photo to Instagram and now she was mortified. I was no longer a goof, I was embarrassing.

I concur. I’ve been consistent in my ability to embarrass my wife. I do not plan on stopping any time soon.
