Happy Tuesday everyone,

I’m finishing up this newsletter on my phone at approximately 2:28am. (Please excuse any typos). My children are determined to not let me sleep tonight. My most recent waking (around 1:30am) was from my son who needed more stuffed animals. He just called for me again actually…

And I’m back.

I said “latest waking” above but I haven’t actually fell asleep. I was thinking about today’s topic in between interruptions. I’m reminded often God calls in the night. It could be that God is taking an opportunity to remind me my children need me - and your children need you. It may seem unimportant to you (such as extra stuffed animals) but to them it’s “dad to the rescue”. I remember as a child calling out to my dad in the middle of the night. I don’t remember for what but I’m sure he does.
