Five Things I Did Well in My Twenties

It’s called the “defining decade” - those years from 20-29. It is the foundation of your adult years. It doesn’t take long into your thirties to realize you may not have made the best use of your time or energy during that defining decade. A separation begins quickly between those who used those years well and those who traveled, partied, or scrolled.

There will be a companion post to this one (Five Things I Wish I Would’ve Done in my Twenties). Below are five things I believe every young man should learn to do.

1 - Learned to Study

I was not a great student in high school. I dropped out of college after my third year. I finally graduated at 30. (You can read about that here). Rock bottom years followed dropping out of college which were necessary for me to decide to turn my life around. I returned to church and with the return finally came a spark to study. That spark turned into a flame still burning.
